Cadeaux Jewelry — Since 1975
Cadeaux Jewelry was founded in 1975 in Koblenz, Germany, by a professional sculptor — with a deep sensibility for modernism and the goal of creating a jewelry identity that belongs to the wearer. What began as an avant-garde idea then is now half a century of goldsmithing artistry.
The Ginkgo Leaf — A Sign for Eternity
The Ginkgo tree has existed for 300 million years — long before dinosaurs roamed the earth. It has survived ice ages, volcanic eruptions, and even the atomic bomb in Hiroshima. In Hiroshima's Peace Park, a Ginkgo tree that survived the bombing still stands today. It bears a name: "Bearer of Hope."
The split leaf inspired Johann Wolfgang von Goethe in 1815 to write one of his most personal poems — a symbol of duality, harmony, of two-in-one. In Asia, the Ginkgo has been considered a symbol of hope, peace, steadfastness, and love for millennia.
Cadeaux Jewelry carries this symbol. Not as decoration — as a promise.
Goethe's Poem — Ginkgo Biloba, 1815
"This leaf of a tree, which from the East my garden has been entrusted with, gives a secret sense to taste, as it edifies the knowing.
Is it a living being, that has separated within itself? Are they two, who have chosen each other, that one knows them as one?"
— Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, West-Eastern Divan, 1815
Craftsmanship & Technology — The Best of Both
Every piece of Cadeaux Jewelry begins as an idea and ends as a masterpiece. The process combines centuries-old goldsmithing tradition with modern precision technology.
Taking the Icon Ring as an example: The blank is cast in 18-karat gold using the lost-wax technique — a technique used since antiquity. Subsequently, a computer-controlled laser machine engraves the CADEAUX logo and the Swiss Responsibility Mark into the gold. Liquid ceramic paint is applied in several layers and cured under UV light. Then, a master goldsmith sets the diamonds — by hand, with decades of experience. A polisher gives the gold surfaces their high shine.
In the end: Quality control. Every piece that leaves Cadeaux Jewelry is made to please forever.
Jewelry as an Expression — Of Your Identity
Jewelry has always carried identity — personality, values, the silent expression of who one is. Not for others. For oneself.
Cadeaux Jewelry was born from the conviction that true beauty does not come from the brand name, but from the connection between the piece of jewelry and the person who wears it. Jewelry that speaks to you. Jewelry that lasts.
"Beauty no longer radiates from traditional rank or from modernist brand names — it comes from the manifest self, from the wearer's confident demeanor."
18 Karat Gold — Guaranteed
All Cadeaux Jewelry pieces are made from 18-karat gold. The quality is guaranteed by the Swiss Responsibility Mark No. 7949, registered with the Central Office for Precious Metals Control of the Swiss Confederation.
